In daily life, the most common unlocking tool used by professional locksmiths is the single hook unlocking. Due to the different internal structures of the locks, the types of single hooks used are also different. However, no matter which single hook is used, the three major unlocking techniques are required to achieve successful unlocking. Below, we will explain the specific operation methods in detail.

1. Single hook point lock method

 The single hook tool set includes a variety of point hooks suitable for different types of locks. For different pin-tumbler door locks, use professional point hooks to move the anti-theft pins in the lock holes one by one until all the anti-theft pins are completely out of the lock chamber, and then the lock can be easily opened without damage.

2. Single hook lock brushing method

  The single hook lock brushing technique is a lock-opening technique that is used more frequently by locksmiths. It has a relatively good unlocking effect for various old-style anti-theft door locks, wooden door locks, glass door locks, rolling door locks, etc.

  When using the single hook lock brushing method to achieve technical unlocking of locks, you are not limited to professional unlocking brush hooks. You can use materials such as paper clips or iron wires. Through simple bending, you can make a brush hook tool that can unlock.

  When using the single hook lock brushing technique, you only need to put the prepared brush hook tool into the deepest part of the keyhole, and quickly brush the anti-theft pins arranged in the keyhole. The key to the operation is back and forth. Only a few times back and forth are needed to quickly complete the damage-free opening of the lock.

3. Single hook zipper method

   Due to the installation of the lock, there are two ways of arranging the pins in the keyhole upwards and downwards. For the lock with the pins arranged upwards, we use the single hook brush lock method. For the lock with the pins arranged downwards, we use the single hook zipper method.

   The so-called single hook zipper method is the same as the single hook used in the brush lock method, except that the single hook used for unlocking faces downwards towards the pins. When using it, the single hook tool is also placed in the deepest part of the keyhole, and the pins in the keyhole are quickly pulled downwards, and the same back-and-forth rule is used to easily open the lock without damage.
